TGIM! It's Monday, and for many of you, that means, it's workout time! I've spent all day today, re-arranging the Weight Room. I have added a new Weight Bench, complete with Bench and Squat station. Leg station, and curl bench. Also, it uses OLYMPIC PLATES, and has OLYMPIC PLATE racks, which is inline with current shift to Olympic plates. Now, 2 people can bench, squat, and work leg extensions, (among other things), at the same time. Come see the new lay out. More gear, and still enough space for out floor work. neato. A new member of the Gym family. Mr. Slam-Ball. (OK, he needs a new name! Lol). In it's 1st day... actually, it's 1st HOUR, here at the gym. It took a pounding by no less than 4 people. A super-awesome, full body blasting movement, and a great way to blow off some steam! Be sure to stop in, and give it a whirl. :)
![]() FINALLY, those Swiss Balls, that we all love, but are just too darn BIG.... are GONE. New 55cm, and 65cm Swiss Balls, have joined the Gym. This means, not only can all of us short people, use a ball that suits us, the TOWER OF DOOM, is also much smaller, and more manageable. I will miss watching the entire tower come crashing down. Can't win them all... :P That said, I have also reduced the total # of balls in the Group X room, by 1. Should turn out for POWER-BALL increase, I will increase the # as needed. We have more than enough available, with extra's waiting on the sideline, in the event they are needed. :) ALSO..... Nifty new ring stands, for the Medicine balls. Hope to add more of those balls soon. AAAAAAND..... as a special thanks, to all who signed on for PILATES (we also use the mats for POWER-UP and POWER-BALL), I ordered 2 new Pilates Mats. They are 10mm thick!! This is super, as the current ones, are only 3. Can't wait to get them in, and try them. If we are happy with them, I will add more. These suckers are pricey, but, I suspect they will be worth it! Better matts, are something I've wanted to fund for a long time. Sooooooooo. The Group Gym, REALLY needs YOU in it. Summer was painfully slow, and the GYM can't survive without more warm bodies. This week has been a HUGE turn around. Help me keep it that way. Drop in for a class or 3! Even if its just YOU!
